GetThresh

For those times when you're having trouble accessing Threshold RPG from behind a proxy, this may help. It holds port 443 on your own computer, lets you connect to that from anywhere in the world, and proxies your connection directly through to Threshold. (Can also be used for other MUDs, or any other TCP-based connection, though it is deliberately not transparent.)

If you know about networking, this will be fairly straightforward. Otherwise, Google is your friend - if you don't understand what it's saying, Google the word.

Usage: GetThresh.exe [/b=bindport] [/l=logfile] [password=destination...]

bindport local port to bind to - make your connection to this port
(if not specified, defaults to 443 - https)
logfile name of file to capture all information sent to the screen
password Enter this password to connect to this destination
destination server to connect to, eg "thresholdrpg.com:23"
(if port not specified, defaults to 23 - telnet)

Multiple password/destination pairs can be specified. After connecting to
GetThresh, type in the password for the destination you wish to connect to.
Example: GetThresh.exe blarg=rosuav.is-a-geek.net:1047 flak=www.example.com:80

If none specified, uses password 'getthresh' to connect to thresholdrpg.com:23.
