On a Tight Budget?

You will notice that many items in this catalogue are amazingly inexpensive. Good education does not have to cost much in dollars, but will always involve a time commitment.

Need to Save Money?

There are several ways you can teach inexpensively without compromising quality.

Buy secondhand items where possible
Don't use up workbooks, and return them after use
Don't photocopy! It's expensive as well as illegal
Use exercise books and clear overlays
Buy small quantities of unfamiliar items
Buy specials where suitable (only while stocks last)
Forego answer keys and manuals unless essential
Reread books you have rather than buying more
Use free resources; ask us for ideas!

Secondhand Items

We offer usable secondhand copies of our catalogue items. To order, simply mark your order "Seconds If Possible". We will then supply seconds if available (new otherwise). We cannot back-order seconds.

Returns

Read on for the best returns policy in the Southern Hemisphere! If any stock item does not meet your needs at any time, you may return it! If you return goods within 30 days in new condition you are entitled to a FULL CREDIT.

For stock items returned after 30 days, a minimum of 10% restocking fee will be deducted. Refund is according to condition, but please tell us the reason for the return, any damage and any disappointed expectations. Stating reasons frankly will not lessen your refund. We appreciate specific comments which help us improve our catalogue descriptions.

The only exceptions to this policy are:

Specials (unless within 30 days) and non-stock items ordered in especially
Software (unless still in its original shrink-wrapping)
Books which have been written in (even if rubbed out)
Incomplete kits
Items which have been revised and are no longer usable (we may be able to refund on very old stock, but check first to avoid disappointment)

How To Return

Ask for (or

download) our Return Form. If you wish, phone for probable trade-in value with us. Ensure that kits are complete and that nothing has been copied. List the items and details of their condition (scuff marks, scribbles, stains, tears) and include reason(s) for return, plus your name and address.

Postage and packaging are your responsibility. Refer to the postage cost notes on the Order Form to choose the best postage, and pack items securely to prevent damage - ask for advice if necessary.
