Is there really scientific evidence that the earth is as young as the Bible indicates? Literature from Creation Ministries International (whose web site www.creationontheweb.com is well worth visiting) upholding the reliability of the Biblical account of creation in a world where "science" is widely held to be opposed to it. Free with any order.

[New!] The Beginnings of World History [Australian][Christian][For Everyone] $5.50
The opening chapters of Genesis are doubted by many and openly attacked by some. Yet there are notable evidences that support this part of the Bible. A Study Guide has been prepared in contemporary Power Point format that can be used by an individual, or a small group gathered around a computer, focusing the attention of users on the reality of Genesis 1-11 as history.

In a self-paced manner, the users of this Study Guide will consider such questions as: Why support faith with evidence? What do we mean by Intelligent Design and irreducible complexity? Why is Genesis relevant?

Nine particular events of Genesis 1-11 are highlighted as Main Events. For each of them several evidences are supplied and the Study Guide concludes with a list of available resources (books & DVDs) if materials are required for further study.

Two versions of the Study Guide are available: One with evidence summaries only (91 frames), the other with expanded chapters of evidences (150 frames). Both versions are supplied on the same CD.

These PowerPoint sequences have been compiled from a variety of materials, including some of his own photography, by semi-retired teacher of Science & Technology, Ron F. Suter, B.Sc., M.A., T.P.T.C.

Grade levels
Wherever grade levels are mentioned you may need to adjust for your State. In some states there is a compulsory year of preparation BEFORE grade 1. In other States this prep year is called Grade 1. Thus grade 2 in Qld, NT, SA, & WA is equivalent to grade 1 in NSW, ACT, Vic, Tas, NZ and USA. However, levels should be seen as approximate guides only - a bit like estimating clothing sizes from children's ages.

Computer Skills

Teach your children to regards computers as tools, not just toys. Computers can be useful for general education if used wisely, and educational software can be obtained from computer shops or online - but beware of "edu-tainment" where educational value is minimal.

Computer Theory and Awareness Course [Australian][Christian][For Middle][For Senior][For Parents] 150g $8.80 KEPL
A six-week course in computing fundamentals - how computers work, how to take care of them, exploring with caution. Designed to destroy technophobia and form a base for more specialised studying. Includes exercises and full answers.

Touch typing is the main computer awareness course we recommend - typing without looking, no cue but touch.

We do not recommend you spend much effort on learning specific software. Packages differ widely, and change often. Teach generic skills, such as word processing and spreadsheet operation, which will be transferrable to any situation.

Keyboarding Skills [For Early][For Middle][For Senior] 250g $33 EPS
An efficient multisensory touch typing course for any age, teaching letters alphabetically. A rhyming mnemonic said aloud speeds memory. Spiral-bound book with a built-in easel, for any computer, any word processing program, or even a typewriter!

Type It [For Middle][For Senior] 250g $26.40 EPS
Similar to above but teaches the letters by their position on the keyboard.
